I use cork coasters on the coffee table for beverages and such. cork side down right?
Won't the cork, if face up, get too much moisture and eventually rot?
Yes, lol, cork side down, they stop sliding and even prevent burn marks against varnished wood if you put like a mug of coffee on them. Putting a red hot mug on it would result in an ugly white circle where the heat has reacted with the paint/varnish
