beeswax will do the trick?

I recently bought a small dining set beautiful, which is the root Untreated teak .... I noticed that it started to crack in a very few places to stop getting worse I slapped a load of beeswax polish on it and it will be ..... what do the trick? and should I use wax finish on it.? thank you.

As mentioned teak oil is much better to feed the wood and improve color. Teak can be stained (crime) and an oil finish applied that will seal the wood and gives a better seal oil spill alone teakwood. An oil finish can also be paste wax for extra protection. Cordially
