How do you keep sectional sofa pieces from constantly moving while you are still sitting on them?

There are several connectors that you can get that will allow you to connect or sectional together and also take it easily apart. Many of them connect on the bottom of each section so you don't have to hack the sections together.
Some other ideas: if the sections are on a wood or tiled floor then getting some rubber coasters from your local home center and placing them under each leg will help keep the sectional in place. You can always place the sections on an area rug or full carpet and that will keep it in place.
Or you can always do what this customer of mine did: the guy had his reclining sofa on an oak wooden floor and every time he went to raise and close the reclining portion the sofa would slide.... so he got ticked off and nailed a 2x4 to the oak floor behind the sofa!! (definitely solved the sliding problem.. but NOT recommended!!)
