What lies on/in your bedside or nightstand?
i'm hoping to redecorate my bedroom soon.. At the moment it is bare, and so i was hoping for some ideas as to what may go on/in a bedside/nightstand, and better still, what is on and inside yours?
a big, big mess is on my beautiful granite-top bedside dresser. 
there is an internet router, college papers, stacks of books, jewelry, clock, gorgeous tall skinny lamp, and a bunch of other junk. it sounds like i need an office. lol there's not much to brag about decorating-wise. my bedside dresser is a definite decorator "don't".
