Why would you prefer Blu-Ray?
Do people actually enjoy paying for an expensive item when its rival (HD-DVD) offers a good enough picture for a reasonable price?
For those who dont know, the most expensive Blu-Ray DVD in the UK costs £37.99 ($75).
HD-DVD's are not as expensive here in the UK. Also, considering the quality it offers, I'm honestly satisfied of the quality it produces.
Now then, the question is that, I want to purchase a 360. I personally prefer the games on it rather than the PS3.....but then again, PS3 claims that they've won the 'HD' war:
1) Xbox360 great for games...not sure for HDDVD's.
2) PS3 games do not satisfy me, but the console may have taken the marbles for the 'HD' war.
Should I just stick to the 360 and pray for some technology which can play both HD-DVD's and Blu-Ray disk?
well, lg has already come out with an hd-dvd / blu-ray player. and its cheaper than buying either one. the only bad thing is that the hd-dvd pop up screen thing doesnt work with the player...
