Cheap Effective Hat Rack?
I don't have much room atm, I'm in a transitional stage while renovating. I don't mind putting holes in my wall but I don't want to spend a bunch of money on a temporary space and I have a slight hat fetish. I need a way to get them up and out of the way so that i don't crush them and loose their shape. I did thumb tacks for my jewelry and I did the back of the door coat rack thing for scarves and purses.... but i need a hat solution!
Ok how about something really inexpensive and a bit whimsical. Christmas is over ..there will be dozens of trees waiting to be tossed out. Grab one. Remove the branches and leave 3 to 6 inch stubs. Paint the stripped tree in one of your room colors. Stand it in an old tree stand or on a board with a screw and screw it to the board.
