Does anyone know of the French National Academy of Dramatic Art?
I saw the name on Wikipedia and it's called the "Conservatoire National Supérieur d'Art Dramatique," CNSAD for short.
It's supposed to be even more prestigious than RADA in England. How does one apply and get into this school? What is their policy regarding international students?

CNSAD isn't more prestigious than RADA- whoever wrote that was obviously a graduate of or teacher at the school. 'This reputation is notably explained by the very severe selection at the entrance examination: 3 rounds of selection for an average 2 or 3% of admitted students compared to the number of applicants.' These are the reasons given for it's prestigiousness. RADA has a 4 round selection process and only accepts 1% of it's applicants (with 3000 applicants and only 30 accepted)
I'm sure it's a great school if you can speak French but I suspect far less people audition for it than RADA or Juilliard, prob because of the language barrier but also because RADA and Juilliard are more easily recognised world wide.
That being said, CNSAD appears to accept a few foreign students each year- 'The CNSAD offers a 3 years study program. Every class counts approximately 30 students (generally 15 gents, 15 ladies) and some foreign trainees are invited each year'.it would be far more expensive for them though (as it is for any foreign student anywhere). As for how to get in- I imagine you'd audition like any other school- contact them and find out

if you can't understand their website I advise you either learn french or go to another school- it's hard enough studying a language based art in your own language!
