Cooking on the char griller with a side fire box?
has anyone started cooking on the char griller with a side smoker box? What are the secrets. please give me some. Thanks, Chuck
I don't know the configuration of your machine. My side smoke box is its own little barbecue, with a grill. When smoking food, I put the water bowl on the grill. and the meat/veggies in the big part. If I want to grill on it, I do so. If I need more real estate to grill for a large crowd, I can lay in the charcoal in the big part too, and it becomes a respectable grilling machine.
Try Yahoo!ing or Googling your make and model. Most of these manufacturers have web sites with owner's manual and tons of recipes.
Also the usual safety and cleaning tips.
