Sims 3 Vintage (late 50's early 60's) Custom Content hair and clothes.?
I am looking for some Mad Men era (late 50's early 60's) Sims hair styles and clothes. (especially Betty Draper, Peggy Olson, and Joan Holloway) I would prefer if they are available for download right off the sims 3 site, since I don't know how do get other site downloads into my game. Thank you do much!!!

I get all of my custom content from there. Especially houses. (:
Basically, click the green tab that says downloads, scroll over to Sims 3, choose clothing or hair, click the free tab, and then choose what you want. There are some more options on the left hand side if you want to narrow down the search. Once you find what you want click on it, and then click the download button right under the item id number. (It's the arrow pointing down.) It's a zip folder, so you need a program that can unzip zipped folders. The most popular one out there (it's also the one I use) is WinRar. Download that and install it. Once you do that, download the thing you want. WinRar should pop up with the contents of the folder laid out. The item you want should have the sims 3 logo next to it. Next you want to right click on the item and export it to your Sims 3 downloads folder. If you do not have a sims 3 downloads folder, create one like so EA > Sims 3 - then create a new folder. Once you do that export it to the downloads folder you have just created. Now open up the sims 3 and click downloads. It's pretty simple and obvious on what to do, so you shouldn't have much trouble now. Now that you have done all of the following it should be in your game now. Good luck!
Oh, I think I forgot to mention that in order to download content from the website you need to create an account. It doesn't take much time anyway. It's actually the easiest part of the whole process.
