French cast Brass Chandelier leaf?

Please look at this pic. Do you know who made it? Can you identify what style of brass chandelier it is? I am trying to restore it, any advice about restoring this type of brass ... it is at least 40 years old and weighs over 50 pounds.
Very difficult to tell who manufactured your beautiful chandelier without looking at it close up. I did look it up in my design book and because of the acathus leaf design, I believe it to be in the Louis XVI Travail Francais design. The style often used the leaf design to accent furniture legs, arms on chandeliers and to stylize artistically. That being said, I'm not certain whether I would recommend doing anything to the brass. Patina is what makes these vintage pieces valuable. Other than re-wiring it, perhaps adding some shade to the top which is how they are usually seen, I would merely clean and polish the metal. I would not use the cream type of cleaner, either, as you will create a nightmare for yourself trying to get it out of the crevices.
