What was it in the Schiphol Airport?
2 years ago I was taking a connecting flight in the schiphol airport to America and I saw a group of man who were all wearing black suits and Ottoman faz. I think they were Dutch. Do you know what this was, why they were all wearing so?
Unless you talked with the people and asked them, (which you did not do, I assume,) we can keep on guessing.
Most of the world passes Schiphol, and your description does not sound like any group that is big in the Netherlands.
The only groups I know that wear fezzes are Americans, where some secret societies have taken fashions like that to set their business suits apart from others.
