Does anyone know how to make or where to find a German black forest cake?
I want to do something really special for the love of my life on Thanksgiving...He was born in Germany and he loves their Black Forest Cake...he says its loaded in rum (the cherries are soaked in this) and I haven't been able to locate this recipe...if anyone knows the recipe please help me out. I realize I will never be able to make it the way his mommy can but I would like to try. Can anyone help me out...It'd be very appreciated.
I would cheat but I don't where to get one here in Seattle, WA...I think it would be more appreciated if I actually took the effort and baked it. Thank you all!!!
