Steam damaged my table - please help!?
I made French toast and put it on a paper plate. I then placed the plate on my beautiful, antique dining room table. Now my desk looks ruined! There is a place (in the exact shape of a piece of bread), where the finish appears to be damaged (outside color and rough). Apparently, the alley steam french toast right through the plate paper. Is there any hope to repair the damage? Would not rub the ashes and the damage of the table even more nuts?
You can be out of luck, but you can try this rub the ashes on the ground in a circular rub motion.Then a pecan or the region. If this does not, you may have to take it to a pro. Beware of people who said they will need to completely strip your table. They try to rip you off. Start with the softer ash first.The process is a mild abrasive, and the nut has natural oils in it.
